Glendale neighborhood sandwich shop, family-run since 1996.
A 28-year-old Glendale institution stuck on a stale website that cost them online orders. We rebuilt the site, photographed the menu, and the orders started moving.
A six-second load time, no real menu photography, and an online-ordering flow buried behind three menu pages. Most regulars knew to call — but new customers bounced before the menu finished rendering.
A full-day photoshoot covered every sandwich on the active menu, including the build-your-own “Press.” The new site puts the menu and online-order CTA above the fold on mobile, prices update through a small CMS, and the cart flow is two taps.
Online orders tripled in the first 60 days. Direct (people typing nickossandwiches.com) is up 42% — the kind of brand search you want for a 28-year-old shop. We still do photo refreshes every other quarter when the menu shifts.
I told them I just needed a faster website. They handed me a site, a menu’s worth of photos, and three times the online orders.
