§ 09 — Errata & FAQ

Common questions.

01 How long does a full site take?

Most projects ship in 6–8 weeks from kickoff. Discovery is 1 week, wireframes 1 week, design 2 weeks, build 2–3 weeks, launch 1 week. We work in parallel where possible — content writing happens during design, SEO setup happens during build.

02 What's the budget?

Most restaurant and small-business sites run $7,500–$18,000 depending on page count, custom features, and content needs. E-commerce and ordering systems start around $14,000. We scope a fixed-price quote after a 30-minute discovery call — no hourly billing surprises.

03 Will I be able to edit it myself?

Yes. Every site ships with a CMS (usually Sanity or Strapi) so you can update menu items, hours, photos, blog posts, and any text on the site without touching code. We record a 15-minute Loom walkthrough of your specific setup.

04 Do you handle hosting?

Sites are hosted on Vercel or Cloudflare — both global, both free or near-free at small-business traffic levels. We can manage the account for you (~$25/mo) or transfer it to your name. Either way, you own the domain and the code.

05 What if I need changes after launch?

Every project includes 90 days of free tweaks for typos, photo swaps, copy updates, and small layout adjustments. After that, we offer monthly retainers ($350+) for ongoing changes, or you can hire us project-by-project at a discounted rate.

06 Can you redesign just one page?

We can, but it's rarely the right call. Most "the homepage isn't converting" problems are actually navigation, content hierarchy, or page-load problems that bleed across the whole site. We'll be honest about scope on the discovery call.
